I reminds me of 99' when I would go to the halls and tune out and tweak in. I like it. I dig it. One thing I was waiting for was a over modulated or even distorted bass lead. Like a thunderbird with a overdrive Simon Gallup style. That is me though. Still dig the track for sure! |

| Thank you very much. I am starting to get a group together to make these songs more but it's a slow process. I play guitar a little but am a bass player (upright and electric) but I have to find a way to allow others to put their print on them. So until I get all that done and write arrangements for more than 2 to 3 instruments I will continue to demo them small. It has been years since I have had to write out sheet music it is sad and a relearning process. Thank you for you kind words. I am a huge Tim Buckley fan and his album Starsailor is a huge inspiration to me. |

| For me the imperfections also tell the story of a song. I like the breath and the few pops. It reminds me of Carl Perkins. He was all about the imperfections of the song. Sometimes human error and humbleness adds to the emotion....but you are absolutely right. I feel if I put on my pop guard it could also really add to the song too. I really wanted to do it raw. When I did the track it was after a lot of bad stuff happening and it felt my mood. I love this but in the future so much more can be done and better. | |

| Believe it or not that is a regular acoustic guitar. It is tuned flat with extremely old strings. My idea for the production of this song was how to do it without the need of a bass guitar. I had 4 rhythm guitar tracks mic'd from different areas of the guitar. The sound hole, the back of the body, up the neck further and just an open room mic. The lap steel was an old 60's jobber we found at a pawn shop. The swirling sound is a guitar track that didn't work so I applied chorus, a phaser and paned it left to right with slight reverb. | |
