hey aviation......you guys just starting out,eh??....well it's sounding pretty good, nice tone you're getting on the strat and can tell you are working hard on getting the songs down and tight....it's always hard to get the live recordings sounding right and i would go with illum's advice on miking up the bass drum and plugging bass directly into board.....keep at it and good things will come |

nice piece here guys......this could probably be expanded even further to a full blown song with guitar and vocals, it is very well composed.....i like the tones you get from your basses, plus and it's nice to see a different side to your playing, that is, a piece with feel and emotion.....like the harmonics at the end, could probably even have done that at the intro as well.....nice job composing this jacob. |

holy ****!!........smokin' cover of one the alltime underrated guitarists in one of the alltime underated bands!!....UFO was and remains one of my favorite bands - ever. they were what influenced me to not only want to listen to music, but want to play it as well...i learned bass by playing "strangers in the night" frontside to backside..my high school band went on to cover "love to love" and "electric phase"....Schenker is my absolute favorite guitarist and so many of guitarists today and yesterday owe him a debt of gratitude.....you will totally blow me away if you have some Thin Lizzy up your sleeve.....great job Ray!!!! |
