My name is Daric Ford.
I am a solo musician. My pseudonym in the music world is So Long Secrets. I started created my first bits of music under this heading in 2007. These early stages never materialized themselves and I put SLS on hiatus to work on more traditional musical and "band" endeavors. 2008 would become a defining year because it was that Autumn that I would reignite SLS with a new passion and direction and motivation. In January of 2009 I released "When Dead Men Tell Tales" to iTunes and that was met with some burgeoning success.
(Though it must be said, I literally detest that album now. I know what it was and what it meant to me, so it will remain a part of me, but ooooooooh man did it suck as far as a production.)
At this point I was featured in AP Magazine (March 2009) and started receiving a lot of fans. Fan growth was nice but soon, my passion for that style and image collapsed and SLS went into another hiatus.
In that period, I went through a lot of personal and spiritual growth. Beginning in the Summer of 2010, I started creating the songs and music that will be featured here on iCompositions.
Poem 1 and Poem 2 are in their final stages of completion and are ready for distribution. Poem 3 is being developed as of this date. (November 22, 2010)
