Dan, also known by the uppercase moniker HI DEFF, is a singer, guitarist, bassist, producer, and manager currently residing in Chicago. Having come from a mysterious tribe of nomads and dabbled in areas across the board, his peers have also concocted such nicknames as "Dan the Traveling Man", "The Music Man", and "The Real Dan." An artist himself, Dan has also paid tribute to his favorite talent as the hard-hitting "Katy Couric" of his own online music show "On the Guest List", where he's gone head to head with the likes of Katy Perry, Dimmu Borgir, Hot Chip, Yelle, Opeth, Morcheeba, Dream Theater, Infected Mushroom, and several other French horn enthusiasts.
