| C'est trés tight. I really need to figure out what's causing those crackly noises. I think it might have something to do with the way I'm converting the files to mp3 format. |

| You're quite right, simple and catchy. I like that you added the bass lick at the end to add a little splash of your current musical leanings. The track sort of sounds like seperate bits stuck together, especially with the vocals panned completely to one side. You might be able to make them fit a bit better if you turned up the backing music a little, moved the vocal track more to the centre (it doesn't have to be dead centre though), and added a bit of reverb to put it further back in the sound field. Also the words sound like they should be shouted more. Maybe you didn't want to because you didn't want to disturb everyone else at work, but if you get the chance you might want to redo it with more screaming and compensate for it by decreasing the gain. Great to see you posting stuff. |

![]() Dang. That's really, really nice. I thought you had a great voice before but now with proper production it shines even more. I'm so glad that you've started posting your stuff on iCompositions for all of us to hear. Thank you. |

![]() Gorgeous song. Obviously as the other guys said the recording quality isn't terrific but the music itself is so strong that it easily overcomes that. I had to grin when I saw you had joined iCompositions. That would be awesome if you posted some group stuff too when you have it recorded. |

![]() Just like the others said, the suspense keeps the song driving forward. Really nicely conceived and assembled. I hope you do post a finished product because I'd love to hear it build to some intriguing melodic line or something. |

![]() This song is fantastic! The great melodic and rythmic hooks lighten up the mood to make the heavier message more accesible to the masses. Listening to this really brightened up my evening by setting me rocking with a smile on my face. |

![]() Nice rythym with the natural drums in the background, and the vocals are really great, pleasing to the ear. The keyboard/synth that kicks in in the intro is kind of shrill and had me briefly fumbling with my volume to figure out a balance between clear vocals/loud synth and quiet vocals/moderate synth. That balance seemed to straighten itself out as the song progressed though, so it was no longer a problem. I expecially like the drop in vocal range at the end of the first verse - that would have been easy to mess up, but it works. There were a few slightly fuzzy sounding spots (from the vocals I would assume), but overall the production was pretty good. The rain stick at the end is a nice touch (if that's even what it is). |
