Hi, I love the sound of your voice, this song is excellent and the accompaniment on piano is also perfectly suited to the vocal. This song exposes a bare sensitive emotion. The recording is also very good, the vocal sits well in the mix. Keep it up, I am going to plug you on my track to get you some more hits. You need to be heard more. Message me if you fancy doing a collaboration.

Very pro sound, great lyrics, professional and tight. I think it could a tad quicker maybe though? Just a suggestion

Nope,
its the same piano piece triggered as a sample and overplayed on itself reversed

Ok so I shouldn't keep commenting on this but a friend of mine gave me a good idea. I think I may rework this track into 3,
1. The first section - a dark minimal electro track
2. Middle section - A commercial trance track
3. LAst section - A deadmau5 tribute track

Also if I comment on this track it raises it's status. Give it a listen guys.
DeadRAT by swimmyfishy 9 months ago
It's a work in progress, it needs to be developed more and have a proper ending. It could build and fall a bit more throughout as well.

I love the drive and momentum this carries by the percussiveness of the orchestration. I would love to remix sections of this maybe and add a double time beat to it and remix it an avant garde way.

I haven't been hiding from this forum but investing many hours in the piano, composing short jazz/ scale/ arpeggio pieces for my students, and even longer studying hours of tutorial videos on you tube discovering the more complex features of Logic 9. Which, not boasting my own ego I feel I have a really decent hold on now

I also was lucky enough to invest in a Mac Book Pro 17' this month and have been drooling over that as well lol

Liking this, I would like to try to remix one of your tracks sometime if that would be ok with you, also I love what Omnicell wrote, your songs on here I would say are definitely what I would call completed but there is always room for development of ideas.

I like this a lot, really mellow, sweet vocals and subtle flute and guitar interplay. It reminds me of 'If I were a boy' by Beyonce a bit, its a good use of a 4 chord, chord progression. A favourite from me..

Nice and jagged sound with a 303 bass sound rumbling away, 4 to the floor always, aphex twinesque but good work.

Your right, it's a mixture of 3/4, 4/4 5/4 and 6/4 and I always find simple tunes are the most hardest to come up with, a bit like playing Mozart, it sounds so easy, but the devil is in the detail. Thanks for your comments though Guys, much appreciated

Thanks, it still needs a fuller bass line, and maybe a bigger breakbeat underneath, plus maybe the mix could be more spacious as well, but it's a start

Beautiful, a real laid back feel, I like the interplay between the vocal and the cello and the pizz. strings work well. This sounds like a new genre which is unique, good work !
