Biography
Tales Of Two, real name Simon Pettiford, is an independent musician from West Sussex, UK, formerly known as shaggysivirus
"I love music. I love experimenting with different sounds and textures. I love listening to other people's music. iCompositions was a great discovery for me. It gave me the chance to put my "experiments" out there, for other people to listen to and comment on; to help me grow and influence me further."
Simon has been a long time collaborator of iCompositions, recording with the likes of jibes, Pharmakeus, imadesentana, and _mason_ to name but a few.
"That was the real selling point for me - the fact I could work with other musicians. I'm especially fond of all the work I did with Chris (pharmakeus). He has a great voice, is a great guitar player and was an extreme pleasure to work with. He can do such a range of styles - check out TGR, No Use Crying, and Walk In A Sacred Way. _mason_ was one of the first people I collaborated with here. I remember being really taken aback by what he did with Deliberation Intoxication!"
The addition of imadesentana to pharmakeus and Simon pushed the duo's sound forward to new depths, spawning classic songs such as Last Days Of Summer and Scientific World. "he really is a talented guitarist and tabla player."
One of the most popular songs here, is Lay Down, created with jibes.
"The backing track I created in like 20 minutes using ACID PRO!" recalls Simon. "I always felt it has this kinda Red Hot Chilli Peppers vibe, sorta like Under The Bridge. I spent some time listening to different artists, then I heard the work of jibes and thought his voice would fit the track wonderfully somehow. So I contacted him and thats how it got off the ground, really. He worked miracles on it!". The song remains as one of Simon's most played and popular songs on iCompositions to date.
Simon continues to write and record and experiment with different styles and textures. He is also the mastermind behind these other projects, hosted here at iCompositions:-
Dark Hatred - an experimental Metal project
ZYKIK - an Industrial/Electronic project

| Temporary Goodbye | April 26, 2007 |
Unfortunately I'm gonna be inactive for a while again on iComp as it's time to pack up and move again as my lease has come to it's end and I don't wish to renew it cause myself and my partner aren't really happy where we are at the moment (neighbours from hell) and our health is suffering.
This place spawned all of the current Dark Hatred material and also some of the newer shaggysivirus stuff but for now Dark Hatred studios is being put back in the box. I will be back ASAP and hopefully being in a new environment will inspire me and I will be able to write some new, really heavy material for you's all.

| Writer's Block | March 24, 2007 |
Been really busy with work and stuff lately and for the next short while that looks like it's how it's gonna be.
I've got a touch of writer's block at the moment as I'm not sure which direction I want to go in, whether I want to continue doing electronic and all different styles or if I want to concentrate solely on Dark Hatred (Metal)

| Complete Page Overhaul | February 22, 2007 |
Hey iComp world,
It's 2007 now and my page was growing, and I decided that it was time to archive some of the old material. I've left what I consider to be my best work on here and I will continue to add to it.
