Fierce! Absolutely fierce and fabulous. It would be even better with some electro vocals but it doesn't need those for the dance floor. Great work!

Thanks for the great comments... Yeah I still haven't bought the adaptor to hook up my mic to my mac so I'm still using the built in one. I've been putting it off though because I'm supposed to get into my friend's studio sometime soon. So, I'm saving up for studio time instead of the equipment.

This is a great collaboration... your two sounds really do well together.

My only complaint is the tamborine/shaker drums. They were a bit loud and the tremolo made the loop distracting. It took away from the feel of the driving drums with the etheral synths floating above.

But besides that, it was really good, your melodies especially are very nice.

Thank you so much OA and ghost. That means a lot to me coming from you guys, since both of you rock.

Yes I nees to get a connector for my mic so I can start recording better vocals. Right now I'm still using the built in one on my computer. eek.

You know this has a real dub reggae feel but at the same time it's so electronic... very original you guys. Nice job.
let me feel (Orangepeel mix) by ORANGEAUDIO 6 years ago
yes! hillbilly DnB, love it. Obviously you put a lot of work into it and it really shows. I wanted to hear more of the "let me feel" sample though, it rocks.

Nice! I love how it gets really dark for a second there. Good drum choice too.

oh my, this one has gotten a lot of listens but it definitely deserves it. My favorite section is right after the breakdown and when you bring it back in again it's even better, it make me want to hear it more.

My only complaint is with whatever instrument you used for the main voice, though I love the actual melody (you wrote it?), but that's just my personal taste.

Downloading...

Good job on this one, I think it may be my favorite of yours. The music really takes you on a trip, it goes so many different places musically.

holy funky trancenation! just teasing, I really like this one but I kept waiting for it to go somewhere. It still grooves along nicely though and kept my head bobbing which is supremely important.

nice job as usual...

Thanks for the nice comments guys...
yeah moodycat, I could be letting my breakdowns go on longer but I kind of like to leave that up to the DJ, if there were a DJ spinning this... which there isn't, so I guess I could try it out!

I really like this a lot, it's nice and fast but not hard, like so many people think DnB must be, at least out here in our scene. I think it needs a little remastering with Logic or another program. I'm running innto the same problem with GarageBand where it sounds a little flat but besides that it's perfect.

Yay for DnB!

Funny, I was just thinking this sounds like it could be from a cafe del mar mix and then I read your description. Well, your inspiration worked and I think I'm gonna make a copy of this to play at the next beach afterparty we have if you don't mind.

Not really my flavor for everyday listening but really well done, could easily be soundtrack material but not for Dukes of Hazzard. I'm thinking more of a Natural Born Killers/Tarantino film. It's really cool you can do such a variety of music.

Oh I forgot to mention that the vocals on this were recorded using the built in mic on my laptop so I used the reverb to kinda cover up the hum in the background.. I think it fits though.

Thanks guys...
Yeah, Bampot, I'm having a lot of fun right now, I think this might be close to the funnest thing I've ever done,

I got the vocals off of a collection of free loops at macidol.com called KilroysKoolness, so I'm not sure where the're from. The original loops are way longer but I cut them down to short bits and recombined them.

Thanks jblend and everyone for your comments.

I did throw in some quiet violin during the breakdown of this track but I don't know if I'll keep it. If I do end up adding more instruments it'll be where the vocals aren't.

No the inspiration for the lyrics was actually relationship stuff but I do have a friend who is a bush supporter, more out of stubborness than ideology at this point I think, who I was joking about the lyrics with the other day after I played this for him.

Yum, this track is awesome. In my opinion this totally is club worthy and this sound is really big right now too. I like how you switch it up in the middle of the song and the vocals are great. Totally downloading it.

Great track ghost, I love that you included a lot of singing, I wasn't expecting that at all as the song progressed.
