| Hey, love it lot! this could easily be played in a Movie or something like it, it's very desorientating, and i like that! since i play guitar ans started making songies ^^ i wanted to be able to do something like this (i still didn't suceeded by the way lol) i like the fact that you guys did this in one night sometimes the most successful songs come from an hour or two of messing around, i mostly try to do the whole song in once and then let it cool of, instead of trying to leave it be for a few days and then reattack, it destroys the atmosphere, the mood and most of all the feelings you have while writing it Bravo Sons of Hypnos Cheers, Tetsuya p.s: the movie where it should have been played in is: "Into The Wild" |

| yes this sounds good. the guitars are indeed very very fat!! not my favourite kind of playing but it sounds good. i think the singer should scream from time to time and put a more melodic phrase somewhere in there (even yelling perhaps) the drumloops are very well put in place a nice killer track! the only thing really bothering is the way it is compressed so much, it really covers all the instruments and after that we can't really make out the different things going on here.  but killer song anyways Outcry! the solo was killer! but near the end went a bit out, now i know this is something people enjoy these days but i would prefer it to be in for this time. keep going! i'll listen to others of your songs Cheers; Tetsuya |

| Hey, The intro is very good showing instantly the tension and meaning this music is made for,it show also the really good production has been put behind al this...wich is a great thing! (bad production can ruin a very good song! but i know dan has a really good feeling for this sort of things )the concept is excellent! the best i've seen so far on icomp, and i notice it has put quite some people together! what (in my opinion) music is made for, bringing people together now matter how far they are on from another. i imediatly recognize Dan's style in the intro guitar, letting that cello glide in there, ( wich i believe is Eido's ) A big bravo to guitardogcar who sings very well on this project: your voice suits the whole thing! Lyrics are very well written Dan, i especially like the point where you put : "'Cause tempting fate is not an option I'll remain and follow on my own" i notice you put a tension just at that point, bringing out human tempation, very well done! my favorite part: where the voices mingle in, with ciheins's violin and Eido's Cello bringing up the mouvements to that "final Hour" (excellent work ciheins, really good production on the violin and alot of feeling in the playing! ) i'm not even starting about Eido who has qualitys in his work i've never seen before! i would also like to thank and congratulate everybody who participated to the project, (i'm sad i didn't know about this before i would have loved participating!! )i say thank you because this really show that the community of Icomp brings people together!!! and that makes me happy! and i know i'm not the only one lolSee you in "the Final Hour", Tetsuya p.s: pardon me my bad english |

| Hey Eido so, first of all, what i like alot in all of your songs (mostly the "Shadows" album) is that you aren't afraid of repeating the music over and over gain...now don't understand me wrong here, maybe some people think it is a bad factor, (and that's why i don't do it often lol because i know people generally don't like it lol) but i really think you succeed very well, you know how to complete a song with one step at the time, and that's very good!! ok, so now on to the song i sense some sadnes in the intro, like some sort of complaint made, (in this case by the lead guitar) accompanied those big chords you play there! i like the lead sound alot!, i'm kind of glad you didn't put a wahwah on there lol my complaint would be about the drums, they are way way behind, or either your lead is too loud lol about the synth work, there is nothing to say, it fits correctly and completes it! bringing it to the next level where the guitar get's a faster paste! i like that part alot! nice chord progression and great feel!, but the guitars (left panning in this situation ) sound a bit weird at some moments, mostly when you pare palmmuting the strings, but it isn't bothering, (i give you this point of view on the guitars because i think it would sound alot alot better without that little bizzarre sound) but i'm picking on nothing here, then we face that sort of melancolic phrase that puts people in a weird state of mind, and the theme comes back not worrying about all the rest! very well done eido! what i like most, is when you let the piano take over the music, and you play that sweet solo (with double recoding right and left in my guess) nice performing!! i have the feeling it is a conversation between two musicial phrases floating above the main melody.Bravo Eido, you did it again Best Regards, Tetsuya p.s: exuse me my poor english. |

| okj first of all sorry for the delay, i was a bit too busy to come and place my comment ok so i'm listening, and the intro is (as i already said) really good!! the drums are also good (some weird noises but sounds good to me) i i love it when the guitar kicks in (it has this dissonant sound i like alot! ) the synth effect is cool, i like the little delay it has to pass like a floating item over the notes, nicely done! here's the only thing i don't like, the sound of the melody guitar you put in there with that kind of wahwah, the sound isn't really nice to listen to in my opinion ... but hey, it's only an opinion lol the end part is really really good!! i love tose rythm guitars coming in the last turn the music takes!! and the fact that you keep repeating the same rythm while adding more and more instruments makes it really complete and let's us comprehend the seriousnes of the story ( i don't really know if you can say that i hope you can understand me with my bad writing lol )in general: i think it's excellent! | very nice! ok the beginning is excellent! very nice melody and nice bass, excellent mix, (it has this live feeling, like it need to work on the kick in in my opinion (the heavy rythm guitars are to fast and are not played in the same rythm as the clean melodic guitars... but that's nothing important and you could easily fix that, you succeeded in the fact to keep it sound very melodic even with the heavy chords played above the melody, nicely done (kind of makes me think of Kse: "End Of Heartache" and even more to "Declaration"Dan is really right about the trivium style running and hopping around in there can't blame you ... it sounds great!!!EXCELLENT KICK IN!!! TING!! the drummer is indeed blessed with speed and a nice sound, however, there should be a bit more work on his sound, (propably it'l take a while but it'll be worth it! ) when you come bck into (what i would like to refer as the chorus) the rythm slows back down, i wouldn't know if that was done on purpose or not but i find it kinda disturbing, it doesn't really needed to be slowd down,(when keeping up the tempo and speed the chorus sounds even more powerful! ) what's even more disturbing is the fact that bring the speed back up while still playing the chorus, give me your opinion on that please i'd like to know if it was done with the intention to make an effect? the part following the second chorus needs the most work in my opinion, the rythmic parts mostly! you need to work those rythms a bit more, and it'l be very good!! ok, now about the solo: i can feel this Heafy sound in your solo playing, wich is not bad at all, maybe you should try and harmonize the last harmonic you pull out with the floyd, could give a killer effect and that lovely TING again!!! and well the fade out leaves us waiting for more Juz!! AMAZING!!! excellen guitar riffs, (i don't like the sound of the rythm guitars and find that in the beginning they really have a weird sound, buts just my little metal taste talking here lol) excellent guitar playing Paul!! very good!! | hey this is not bad at all!! quite good actually!! I think maybe you should put a bit less delay on the lead, it makes it a bit fluffy i'd say (since i can't find the exact word lol) or maybe blurry is better lol ,the phrases you use are quite relevant to the music, even tough i don't really undersand why the first shred came out of nowhere making that calm sunset a bit weird lol (nothing to worry about lol it sounds great!!) great playing with the volume nob reminding me a bit of Steve Vai the part following that is very good, great timming on the shreds and nice feeling (but i think a little work on your bends should increase the beauty of this song..they sound a bit dull, make them live a bit more (ad some vibration to it,since this is a song talking about the last sunrise the high notes should burst with life!! because it will be the last time, they should cry and feel, and live!!! ) in the end this is an excellent solo song! and a congratulate you because i couldn't even do this! i know i'm criticising some parts but my critics do not concern the writing of the song! the progression is clearly well done! we want more! | Hey Eido! i told myself it's about time that i listen to the whole album lol because listening to just a few song isn't the best thing to try and understand the music and the story (wich you beautyfully put togher )sec list the intro is played with so much feeling!! very nice to listen to, enjoy the part where the muted guitar comes in, (i would have tried to add the muted guitar riff with the beautyfull melodie when it comes back it might have an excellent effect on the music, but Eido don't get me wrong i am not saying that you music needs to be changed, it is perfect as it is!! i'm just saying what i would do different...i don't know if it is a good idea and if it would be a bad idea just let me know and i won't do it anymore lol know i really enjoy listening to your music!!!! third listen the harmonized parts you wrote for the guitars is very nice to listen to!!! it gives me this Metallica feeling lol ok now i'm getting to my favorite part: the break!! amazing!! stunning!!! realaxing!! that piano is as powerfull as the perfume from "Jean-Baptiste Grenouille" it brings the mind in some kind of levitation, i indeed support Dan who says we need more of this! give us more of those beautyfully written piano/orchestrated pieces fourth listen te kick in as it's effect as always pushing the piece to his next step, i believe (if i recall this correctly ) that this kick in is alot smoother then the one you performed in "Escape"in my personal opinion this is better then "Escape"...yep this is definitly my favorite for the moment (altough "Escape" is also beautyfully written don't get me wrong here Eido )but to me this really gives me a message, an emotion that brings me further then "Escape" does. and the fade out, well, actually there is nothing to say lol it's perfect, sound production, playing, everything, it fits correctly and leaves the listener with this void, that will carry him eagerly on to the next song fifth list and thank you Eido for this Musical adventure Bravo!!
