Civil War Dub Mix by insomniac28 5 years ago
I don't know much about the genre but I like the mix. The echo is right on. It might be interesting to try and change the echos after the snare hits occasionally ie give a few of the key snare hits more/louder echo just for variatiation. Sounds good though!

Lalluby For Sean by Everine 5 years ago
I like the song and great job with the vox, I think you can add Tracy Chapman-esque vocals to your repertoire. My only bit of constructive criticism on the mix is that there is a bit of mud and I can't hear the vocals. I wonder if eqing the vox a bit will help with seperation...? That being said, great vocals and great style!

I really like the percussion and the upright bass, nice choices!
Last Day by jkane 5 years ago
I really like the choice of drum loop. Cymbals are under-utilized on icomps...very nice track.
You're So Wrong by OhBeJoyful 5 years ago
I appreciate a good pop tune. Very well mixed...it's got a sparkly-ness that I can't seem to capture in my mixes. I think everything sits well. I really enjoyed this, thanks!

I kind of like the "electric fart" but it may be too central in the mix. Great ambiance.

B-e-a-utiful. I am humbled by your performance.
Suicide Soldier by insomniac28 5 years ago
Talking politics gives me a headache. Punk, on the other hand, doesn't. I like the song, especially the guitars...tight. I noticed that there is noticeable reverb on the guitar but none on the drums. I would suggest adding some reverb on the drums in the final mix just to tighten the whole thing up a bit.

good guitar sound and solid mixing. Singing is excellent as well. I'm not a fan of the drum loop...a loop could work but maybe something a little less, how should we say....John Tesh. Seriously, great production overall!

Hey (Can I Come Over) by insomniac28 5 years ago
Dude, is is thhe best of yours that I have heard so far. F-ing wicked breakdown in the middle...if it wasn't 3:30 am I would have cranked it. The drums are tight, great sounding kick. My only feedback is to add some cymbal crashes for emphsis and try a slight echo behind your vox.

Good mix. Nice soft sound, the synths are nice and consistent. For variety, you may want to try panning some of the fills or using reverb on some of them just to add depth. Overall well done. Solid piano work.

wicked. great job again with the drums! I like the vox - gritty and well sung! You can bring up the vox a bit if you like but I think a slightly stonger bass and some mixing of the bass drum would help.
Somebody's Shoe by insomniac28 5 years ago
Well written I appreciate good punk. I am missing the bass...I think a stronger bass would make it rock!
