Not much to say. I'm just an average guy that likes to make stuff up and put a tune to it. Music has always been a very rewarding hobby for me and the best therapy for whatever ails you. I have written songs since I was 10 years old and was never too serious about it because of low self esteem or whatever. About 18 months ago for some strange reason (a woman and then another woman), I got back into it hardcore. I have the acoustic versions of most of those songs on here and am working on a CD. I finally have the time, the desire and a decent recording program to do this.
My guitars are Martin DM, Gibson SG, Kent Strat Copy and Fender Jazz Bass. My amp is a Johnson Marquis JM60. I use a Boss DR drum box. I mic everything with a Samson CO1 Studio Condenser mic. When I was a kid, I would take two portable cassette players with built-in mics and bounce tracks lol. Things sure have changed!
My influences are pretty much everything I have ever heard. My faves are Jimi Hendrix, Van Halen, SRV, Merle Haggard, Eric Johnson, The Stanley Brothers, Phil Keaggy, Michael Omartian (White Horse). I have found music I like in all genres.
