Threequartersmile are a rock band from Southampton, UK, Made up of Ben Harker [Vocals and guitar], Paddy Harker [Guitars], Ash Lines [Bass] and Rob Heatley [Drums]. Originally active from 2002-2005, Vocalist Ben released the Apart EP as a solo effort in late 2006, and a new lineup took shape and started to write new material soon after.
Threequartersmile write songs that employ a radio-friendly, accessible arrangement of anything from punchy punk riffs to epic, sweeping soundscapes. Lyrics range from biting analyses of past relationships, to heartfelt appreciation of the small things loved ones do.
Threequartersmile has always been about stopping, and looking closer, making noisy mountains out of molehills, and pushing emotion through sound.
Threequartersmile are currently working on the full-length album "Years", and singer Ben is thinking about working on a second solo EP, just to keep himself REALLY busy.
