All the windows blew off the farmhouse I grew up in on the day I was born. The huge poplar tree in the front yard fell onto the house just after we moved out. I guess windstorms might be a theme for my life.

I've played guitar for a long time, starting out with folk music in coffeehouses all through highschool, rock bands in college, experimental music as a post graduate artiste, and then nothing for a while. I have put out a solo CD called Toots Rambles, and that's where I get my handle here, but my name is actually Jim (or James) Bouchard. My older brothers Albert and Joe were in the Blue Oyster Cult, and everyone in my rather large family plays music.
