I have been playing guitar for about 15 years. Back in the day, when I was learning covertunes and trying to figure out how to sing and play, I came to the realization that I could be a lot more dynamic by creating my own music rather than learning someone else's. For better or worse, that decision transcended every artistic venture I've undertaken ever since. That's what makes it real for me. At heart I am a writer, which makes great bedfellows with my music. I'm also a graphic artist, painter, illustrator, technical numbnut, hockey player, ultimate player, outdoors enthusiast, lover of great food, wine and beer!
