Hahaha, thanks again, Eido! All things considered, your hatred is much appreciated.  I played with a different tone on this one to bring out the constant mashing and wanking on the root notes of the chords. The other one sounded really muddy so I brightened it up. Definitely makes for a more melodic tone, I think. Thanks again for the kind words. I'll have to see what I can do about all the clipping... That'll be my next project.  -Zack |

Dude... SWEET! This is pretty awesome! You should revisit it sometime down the road and throw some drums underneath and a phat bass line. That'd be sick! I really like how the chorus line fits too. Especially since it's not really meant to be a NWOBHM riff but putting it in there complements the song so freakishly well. Nice work, dude. I miss jamming with you... |

Nice, dude! I like this one... The only "sample" which doesn't really fit is the drum sample or i guess hi-hat? All the other ones sound pretty close to actual instruments. The MIDI tracks add a different and more industrial feel to it though so I think it adds rather than detracts... I like all the cool samples add towards the end too. Some of those are pretty funny, haha. Nice work! |

Personally, this owned. I think it's terrible how little credit "One Hot Minute" gets as an album because it was with Dave Navarro... That being said, this is an excellent rendition of (arguably) the best track on that album. You certainly made it your own. Personally, I would have made the vocals just a teensy bit louder and dropped the harmony vocals a little bit, but other than that, it's very good. Some of the sound FX stick out a bit, blah blah blah. Really an excellent job! Great work! |

Yeah, we just stuck a loop in the whole way to hold tempo as we recorded... I'm looking for a new way to use the recordings I have of the bum metal drum sounds, so until then the loop will just do. I agree, it sucks, but until we get our signature trash-cans thrown in, this is about it.  |

| No bass on this either... I just figured out how to use the "virtual instruments" in Mixcraft today so I just ignored them [bass] for this version. That's why it sounds a little lop-sided without that low end. One take solo, too. I didn't have the energy to piss around with a bunch of takes. Other than that, it went quite well at least as far as an "audition" I guess. |

| More excellent suggestions! Thanks very much! I think this'll more than certainly have to be revisited and tweaked around a little more. I don't know much about mixing or the different ways to enhance my sounds (through equalization and whatnot) so those tips were very helpful! |

I love the Misfits (Graves just as much as Danzig but in a different incomparable way musically) and just thought this would be a really cool concept in a cover. This is the first of many to come, so I'll certainly keep everyone's comments in mind as I further develop my recording abilities.
