| Awww, c'mon now.... I have a simple Shure microphone and I just tweak the reverb a bit. It also could be that it was Sunday and my new place is very quiet and I was all alone when I recorded it.  Thanks ghost and j0j0, you both are true artists and thx for your positive feed back. I started this one over a year ago, hence its "vintage" sound *wink wink* My intention was not creating any kind of opus or a chef d'oeuvre... I was inspired by a movie I saw about the club life in NYC. There's a part in this that I love it's around 2:00 that it starts to get interesting... As all my work, it's never done. | Thank you Artneuro, I must say that when I sew all this together I don't think about how I do it, I just try and make the sound coming out of my headphones interesting. I love the sound of the oboe in general so I loved putting this one in there. I thought that I would blend the synth and the oboe... This one is a demo and as a lot of my stuff, are works in progress so... It's not really completed yet. I'll paint a little more when I find more time. Thank you for the compliment! I appreciate it. | Thanks Elder... Thanks for the comment, it's been a while since I've posted anything new so, it's like my first time... again! I was just involved in an incredible short film just recently that is, I must say a part of this piece's inspiration... it's a mystery/suspense film that is in the vein of Hitchcock meets Lynch, meets the Coen Brothers... I thought about the feeling of this film and how it was shot when I arranged this. Thanks again for the comment. VOS p.s. I hate the snow and winter, but I'll lock myself in my house at night and make more art... That's the only good thing about winter. |

I used the "mixed choir" on the voices, that's it, I think I put them in some sort of reverb thing but the whole piece is riddled with effects that I couldn't tell you what. It's so funny to hear loops that I've used and I guess personalized them in some way, and hearing them used so creatively by someone else! It's a trip and I f***ing love it! I felt as thought the intro at the very beginning could have been a smidge longer, just to anticipate the listener and tease them... but I'm just saying what I would have done... This piece still is excellent. I really enjoy YOUR sense of space and the atmosphere that you're promoting. Quite the journey! The ending could be smeared out a bit and stretched into an exit. Other than that... as usual... your artistry is fierce! |

I love this one. It has great emotion to it. I used to live in Europe and it reminds me of the music danced to and the many a journey home at this time. Why it's almost 3am right now! The first loop is one I've used in a track I did called "Blue Light" and I love hearing it!!! I love the heave synth towards the end... which is too soon btw. Great stuff! |

Sounds like "flo" needs to keep the negative comments to itself, it's not productive to comment on anything unless it will help. If you don't like it, don't insult... that's what I have to say about that... Ok, now the track... I thought it was quite haunting and has tremendous potential. I'd love to mix it into a deep house track! I loved it. I'm a twin as well. Keep it up Aimless! |
