When I was faced with the dilemma of putting music in a short film of mine (nearly two years ago) I found out about the high price one must pay for the rights ... so, while doing a documentary, I started playing with GarageBand and then with SoundTrack. Suddenly so many song and music ideas that were running through my head became possible, and many more I never dreamed of. Since part of editing film needs sound for mood and rhythm, I simply keep on composing songs knowing that one day I will be able to use them ... or at least listen to them on a self-made CD, just for the heck of it and the enjoyment.
