drumma in the house! LOVE THAT OPENING! How could I not! hahaha. I remember carrying the freakin Leslie every night, what a hassle. Fender Rhodes, Hammond B3 was the standard a million years ago. We had to crate both the leslie and hammond b3 up before five guys would jimmy it from the stage. Anyway, your song: AWESOME! CONTEMPORARY AND YET NOSTALGIC AT THE SAME TIME. Love the guitar busting in on top. Well today a midi keyboard and a hammond b3 vst does the trick, but still you have to know what to play. You do. You never disappoint.

GOSH... YEAH DISCO... South Beach.... pina coladas. Go-fast boats, coca, and a lot of other stuff I forgot. Loops are cool if...if you know how to use them, and you do! Nothing wrong with them, just getting them to sound fresh is the hard part, and you do.

bonkers awesome!.... LOVE THE PERCUSSION explosions... great synth arps. Looking backwards everything appears to come from chaos, but that just means we can't process it at the moment... In the beginning, it's the perfect storm. And later, subsides....killer drums and a great surprise via the guitar solo. All in all, superb.

Absolutely celebratory and in your more than capable hands you bring to life the whole bluegrass tradition. Yeah, the tune brings us all together clapping and moving...at the same time, just try to pick up a fiddle, mandolin, banjo or guitar and pick like that....it's a classic art form...Dave, great all around. You are a producer and musician who can just do anything, any form of music and make it look effortless. WTG! z

hey, it's great. Really like the tone/recording/stereo imaging of this one a lot. Don't see how it could be improved, which is rare with home recordings. It's a beautiful pastoral ambient lovely piece of music that takes one running through the waving fields...hopelessly romantic. Why not.

HEY, I'M GROOVIN TO YOUR TABLA.... and the mix choices are insanely cool man. It's a COOOOL TRACK on all levels. Very well paced and thought out. I like the way it grooves and builds to greater heights. The backwards cymbals are cool as well. Your bringing on the east-west fusion thing... echoes of Karsh Kale and others. Peace.

What a production! What a great fusion percussion horn piece... unusual percusion and a very nice "Brazillian" bass line...in quotes because I've heard Chick Corea using the same thing in backing Flora Purim.

Absolutely speaks to me on so many levels... mainly you're masterful synth work and percussion choices... just awesome!.... as a composer you're unique and unparalleled in technique. Love it, bro.

addendum, the voices add a great filmic feel as I listen to it a second time. Being a composer is all about CHOICES and your instincts are impeccable... would love to put some of this to film. smiley

fantastic guitar opening. Great song all the way around. Very nice harmonica solo too. I can relate. I would say more but maybe this isn't the place...a great tune is one that evokes life from within the performer and the listener at the same time--no doubt you're working what Patti Smith referred to as the Inner Non-Linear world. Peace.
