Biography
Updated Jan 2012
Greetings from Roger. I live in the UK though I am originally from Jamaica. I have played a lot of music over the years and did a 5 year stint with a Reggae band in the 80’s. This was followed by many years teaching computer studies but I left all of that in 2004 and returned to a very musical path. Since then I have played Jazz and Soul in various bands and at the beginning of last year I joined up with The Tony Webster Band which is a Latin Jazz group based in Leicester UK
Home recording finally works for me after years of working my way up from a 4 track cassette to computer based recording. My software is Sonar 7 and I spend my time in the beginnings of a home studio. Hopefully this year I will move up to Sonar X1 and a new computer.
Many gaps remain in my music education so I am also working my way through exams I avoided as a youngster. This is my third year at icompositions and I look forward to more collaborations with folks on this site.
