so I'm working on some prog stuff right now and I wanted to make use of a risset rhythm (a beat that sounds as if the tempo is perpetually accelerating) and I'm wondering how to go about constructing one in garage band. also it needs to be in 7/8. if anyone could provide me with instructions for how to do this it would be most appreciated.
also of interest to me are Shepard Risset glissandos, (a pattern of notes that appears to be continuously rising in pitch) and I'm wondering not only how to construct them but also about their applications in music and whether or not the can be melodic or simply s continuous run, and are they disrupted by other melodies and such playing at the same time.
any help people can provide would be most appreciated |
