This has to be one of the strangest tunes I've done, ever!
Once again, I was digging through some songs on my iPod that were finished, but I had never gotten around to posting them on iComp or anywhere else.
So....
I picked this one because I remember I used 2 different songs I had worked on but not completed and I mixed them up into one 6 minute song.
This was great in my headphones, lots of stuff moving around and in the center of your brain and was a blast to listen to in the car.

I posted a Danish traditional folk song (I skovens dybe ro) a while ago. A song I have always loved for its strong simple beautiful melody. A song that has also been interpreted by famous jass bass player N.H.Ø.P.
When Stan Loh heard it, he loved the melody and he wrote English lyrics for it based on the Danish to English translation I had provided. And not just translated lyrics but completely new lyrics that fit the melody well. And still it contains the original idea of the peace and quiet you experince when walking in the forest. And Stan sings the song so beautifully.
