Well Shads I hope the Canadian gals get Bronze, and your women look contenders for Womens World Cup for sure. (GB shoulda had a penalty awarded when we played you, but that's old news now).

Here's a few shots of the Canadian team that provided so much entertainment good and bad for me.

I'll be there Wembley Thursday for the Gold medal USA v Japan game.

A great climax to the womens Olympic football London 2012 tournament.

USA beat Japan 2-1 to clinch Gold, Japan played well, but USA hung on. It was nice to see (and deserved in my bias opinion) to see Canada pick up Bronze too.

A joyful evening full of thrills. spills and emotion, a celebration of being alive and striving for the best you can be, I’ll never forget London 2012 a wonderful time to be in Britain, and that’s a rare thing at times!
Viva Olympics! Very Happy

Nice pictures! So wish I coulda been at the game. To be a fan of the USA women's team who lost to Japan last year and see them come back and win, its really gratifying.

I saw the wrestling yesterday, at Excel, and what an amazing experience that was! I don't even like wrestling, but it didn't matter, as the atmosphere was electric, everyone getting into the spirit of things, lots of talented competitors giving it their all, a vocal audience gee'ing everyone along, and such a happy vibe all the way from the journey there, on the Docklands Light Railway, to the walk up to the venue, with the volunteers so cheerful and obliging, it made me so proud to be part of it all! Well done, GB!

That's awesome you got to an Olympic event!! Smile

The sport was almost becoming irrelevant it was just the atmosphere, it's difficult to explain.

Over the last few weeks of course I've rooted for the home team, but shared in countless other countries great high and low sporting moments. Smile

I've met wonderful folk from all over the world (like an 'iComp live' gone into stellar overdrive).

I agree the Gamesmakers/Volunteers what a magnificent job they did.

An Olympics is not just one element it's the athletes, the crowd, the setting, best Olympics ever?

For Team GB without a doubt in the modern era.

And we got a Spice Girls reunion too...

As someone said 'We'll at least one Beckham played at The Olympics'. Razz
