I watched that marathon on TV!
It was a great games. its the first I really ever watched (was moving into college during Beijing) so I didn't watch much of that. SO I cannot comment on if its the best ever, but I greatly enjoyed watching as much as I could possibly watch!

I made it to the stadium for the last day of events in the paralympic games along with my son his wife and my two week old grand daughter! Tremendous atmosphere and amazing architecture.
The PA in the stadium was the best I have ever heard for a venue this size, with the speaker arrays suspended from a high level ring pointing back towards the spectators. |

Great pictures, zallaz! You've caught the atmosphere of the Games with the range of shots and activities. Really enjoyed looking at those.
Like zincshed, I also made it into the Olympic Arena, so I'll put up pictures later. It was fantastic to finally be part of it! |

Pictures taken today by myself in Toronto.
At 'Parade Of Heroes'
Got to hold a bronze medal too, pics show Canadian Womens Football team it was a privledge to say 'thank-you' for their contribution to my own Olympic attended events.
I got to see these gals 3 times, versus Japan and Team GB, third time at Wembley getting their medals!
What a wonderful way to conclude my London 2012 Olympics, unexpected for sure!
