How do I get names blue and clickable so that folks know they've been mentioned?
I've done the '@' thing plus the name, but that doesn't seem to be the secret.
For instance, I want to thank people individually in some of my song threads.
Thanks! |

@DonnaMarilyn
As above. Just make sure to leave no space after the ampersand, and to spell the username correctly. |

@soulima
Isn't "&" an ampersand? |

Hmmm. That's exactly what I did in the thread (for several names, but they didn't turn blue).
I'll try it here.
@SISTERS
OK, it works here but not in the thread post. Or is it possible that names can't be clickable in an edited post? (E.g. see the last post in the 'Raven' thread (my latest song). |

@DonnaMarilyn - I see what you mean in your song page comments. It should work there. I believe this feature is suppose to work in song comments and in the forums. Other places, like blogs, it may not be designed to work (if I remember correctly). I don't know why it isn't working for you in your song comment area. Hopefully pm (site owner) will check in at some point in the near future and see this thread and respond. |

the practice I found to be most useful with this was to literally copy/paste the artists names. some people substitute numbers and letters and if you type by hand, it could be wrong. |

@SISTERS You're right. Apparently it's only possible to make names clickable in the initial reply, not in the edited one.
@olympus, I tried copy-paste but got a whole URL. (Mind you, maybe that only happens in the edited version.) |
