Who else would like the idea of having on your artist page a section for your musical gear and euipment so others can see and refer to it to see who has what and ask questions about your gear before they make a purchase in that direction? |

I think its a great idea.
I play drums, guitar, bass guitar, keyboards and sing.
I use an Apple G5 with dual 1.8's and 1.5 gigs of RAM, connecting with a PreSonus Firebox digital interface. I record using Apple's Logic Express and sometimes ill use Apple's GarageBand too. My headphones are AKG k240 Studio and my monitors are KRK Rokit 5 dual/bi-amped
Instruments include: Tama Rockstar Custom drums with Ziildjian cymbals and Iron Cobra double bass pedals, Japanese made Ibanez RG-570 (rg-1570), Ibanez Artwood acoustic guitar (also Japanese made), Schecter Stilleto 4-string bass guitar, Yamaha PSR 300m keyboard, Yamaha DD-55 digital drum kit.
The mikes I use are, AKG Perception 100 and 200 condensors, Shure SM57 dynamic, radio shack $20 dynamic-not good for much but I use it-mostly in my bass drum.
The amps I use are Marshall MG30DFX guitar amp, Crate BT25 bass amp, Crate GX15 practice amp and Marshall MS-2 mini amp.
Some of the effects pedals that I use include a Digitech Synth-Wah, Yamaha Digital Stereo Chorus, DOD Supra Distortion, Arion Compressor
I like Dunlop Ultex guitar picks in .73 for most applications but I also use some lighter ones sometimes and I have a special heavy pick for extra tone and attack when I need it. |
