Hi everyone,
While we're more than happy to help you with any iCompositions problems you might have, please check the iCompositions Help Section before posting here. It's not unbelievably complete but it will often help answer your questions.
You can also access it from any part of the site by clicking "Help" at the bottom of every page. |

I've been looking in the help section and the TOS, but I can't find what I'm looking for, which is: What's the maximum size for an upload? I hope I'm not blind... |

20MB
I don't know if it is listed anywhere. Also don't know if this is a general rule or an actual limit you'll reach if you try to go beyond 20MB. Except for videos, if your upload is larger than this you may not be compressing it properly. |

A response to this question is now included in the Help section of this site. The limit is, indeed, 20MB.

Hi, PM,
I can't find a forum that answers this question, so I'll ask here.
When I have an opportunity during the day, while at work, i am able to log on to icomp, ( on my windows based laptop / windows XP prof.)
However, for the last week or so, as soon as I call up a song to listen to, I am kicked out of the site. Some error message appears about "Active X....."
Are you aware of this, and what can I do about it.
Unfortunately, it's actually easier for me to correspond with other artists at that time, instead of at night when I'm at home in front of my Mac.
Thanks,
Pete |

Pete-
What browser are you using? Also, are you using Windows XP Pro SP2?

Yep, and what is the exact error message? |

Yes, I am using SP2, version 6.0.2900.2180.
The error message reads:
"Click to run an ActiveX control on this webpage"
And when I click OK, it kicks me out entirely with the Windows error message that says:
"Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. If you were in the middle of something, you may have lost your information."
Just FYI, there's no problem navigating thought anywhere else in the site, as long as I don't click on a song to listen to. Once I do, I experience the above.
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have Quicktime installed? If so, is it v7? |
