I watched this happening with a lot of icompers, from Fortunato to Dr.Mr.Stupid... + 4 years ago..., and as a virtual place, this is fiction.
Keep playing your character here on iComp, make no harm, make music, and have fun.
If it is in a screen, don't believe it.
Music is the real string that tie all us together.
Suppa cool to have you back, Yoh!

Having been temporarily banned for something fairly innocuous, I can empathize with Omar's feelings that the mods might have communicated before cutting him off.
Omar is a good mate of mine and one of the coolest people on this site. iComps will be poorer for not having him around as much. |

Ohmar your a legend, you listened to all tyoes of music, and gave people good vibes. You helped me by believing in my music and letting me work on songs with you and pushing me. I have an album to drop this summer and a lot of the confidence in my own sound comes from you brother, so I thank you for the belief when many here have not.
I have been banned as I told some one to go some where in a not so appropriate way. I grew up a Maori in Australia and in the 80 s i was beaten up often for my race difference, due to this when i feel that some one is having a go at me I am quick to show my toughness and true strength.
I was banned for a week and quickly learned that being aggressively rude to people is not the go, i have slowly changed from being that person but I will always question why things are the way they are, there is such thing as freedom of speech and we do live in Democratic world thanks to our grand parents and parents and the people that fight for that right to be Democratic society. I Thank those people
You will be back and some people truly know the weight you carry on this site now. you are honest, straight up and a true legend to me. Ohmar ranking on icomps to me no 1
love ya mate |

At the end it would be nice if pm expressed his opinion about last Omar post, that's to say: just "dura lex sed lex" or "it would be better a more friendly rules application mainly in terms of kind of approach?".
I think a final, shared, open heart&mind reasoning could represent a positive and constructive conclusion of the matter without leaving too much bad taste in many mouths (of course only if this aspect can be considered relevant). Imho opinion the interaction between the iComp "team" (pm above all I'd say) and the iComp population is one of the very few sides where iComp isn't that monster of perfection and likeness that normally is for almost everything else, so why not aiming to the ABSOLUTE PERFECTION? |

You got banned as well Daniel?
What did you do to get banned? (I mean why did they ban you for something innocuous?) |

Folks, I am sure it is frustrating to get temporarily banned. I do think it is important that everyone understands the process. The mods (who are volunteers, and do this task to help contribute to icomp) review all reports carefully. Actions come based on reports submitted by icomp community members. Please know that these issues come up due to legitimate reports from the community, and not some random event. Multiple people review and discuss the report. We do our best to act fairly and consistently to follow the policies outlined in the Terms of Service at the bottom of all icomp pages. We're always working to make the site better for all members, and feedback is welcome.
I'll say it again: I think the best action is to stay focused on music. We are all working to learn and grow, and make the site a better place for everyone. Thanks for everyone's help to keep icomp a great place of making music online around the world. |

Make a cool song or movie..."The Banning" the event is long past, best left as water under the bridge, Omar is back, we are all breathing, the world has not ended, Daniel did not get banned, the government is still broke, and we should all be happy that the icomps new server has been mostly bug free, and that today is a holiday...woot... |

Daniel said that he got temporarily banned for something innocuous...just wondering what innocuous activity would result in a temporary banning?
