I use samsung mobile brower V 0.8 base on webkit open source project, to play songs on icomps. Files bigger that 5mb sometime will not play probably due to memory limits of my gt-s5230. Andriod will up load mp3s to icomps. Best wishes pete |

Hello Vicki,
While I don't have any experience with Android, I think you are on the right trail - trying different browsers. You might want to take a look at Chrome for Android.
I'm not sure how PM has coded the multimedia playback within iComp, so I can't say if it will work or not. However, it would seem to be worth a try.
The biggest issue as to whether a mobile browser used on Android will work or not has to do with the way it handles the audio playback method used on iComp. If iComp uses HTML5 then the playback of audio, on most mobile browsers, should be a minimal issue. If it utilizes Quick Time, or something more proprietary of Apples, then the issue becomes a bit more complicated. |

A quick google search says that Firefox has a browser for Android. I know that Firefox is a good alternative to Safari for use here at iCompositions. |

In another thread similar to this one, pm said:

Right back to the issue at hand if googles own browser is not working with there own phone os then there is some seriously whacked out issue unless of course like lummie mentioned the way the site is codeded could have something to do with it though i cant give a straight answer as my moms andoid phone is placed with her at the moment when i see her tomorrow ill grab it and find a working solution as to why you are unable to play tunes will get to it asap |

icecream sandwich is the name google have given to their latest android operating system Carla for the android phones. I was at the bottom of a moutain in our caravan while my husband went climbing. I had time on my hands and wanted to listen to some music...and I did for a bit via husbands ipad, but I would prefer to do so via my phone and should be able to in this day and age...its a plug in probably for the browser but I dont know what plugin |

I'm curious, can you listen to music from other websites on your phone? Or is this an iCompositions only issue? |
