I'd like to be able to make the editing pane larger.

I'd like to be able to have more than one project open at once. Also, the program should not quit when the project is closed.

I'd like more control over loop indexing/organization. (User configurable loop libraries)

I'd like to see more software instruments that correspond to General MIDI instruments.

I'd like to see numerical control for all input parameters (at least as an option).

I'd like to see better native MIDI functionality. Dent du Midi works great, but this should be built in to GB.

There are several things I would like to see... I think most have already been mentioned.

1)Midi Import/Midi Export options
2)Ability to change tempo of all types of tracks as well as individually.
3)Some sort of implmentation so that your keyboard/mouse can actually play/record notes.. sorry for bad explination.. here's an example q-w-e-r-t-y those keys would equal q=c w=d-flat ect... I hope that makes sense... its very difficult to record stuff realtime when your using the mouse and their built-in keyboard panel.
4)Major Optimization, I can't afford a new G5!
5)I think it would be nice to have a drum machine or some sort of percussion loop tool, to make it easier to make kickin drum beats...

Overall there are some serious things missing, but it is a deniably a really fun and powerful program!

THE ABILITY TO REVERSE A TRACK SO IT PLAYS BACKWARDS!

Many neet effects are achieved this way and it's quite low tech.

I would think that GB would already be capable of that with a vst plug-in or something... I bet it would be to hard to find one for that particular ability.. maybe not though... any one know ?

Maybe more of a 3rd party thing, but I really want to see many many more drum kits. The built in ones are good, but not great. the hip hop one is pretty terrible(well, neat if you like old school 808 vibe)

I'd like to see more generators added whenever possible be it with 3rd party addons v.0.X upgrades, or whatever.

MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR optimization and performance enhancements, I really want to see GB run well on my 15" alubook.

Midi import/export would be nice.

The option to turn off the auto load into the last thing you were working on.

Something simple. The ability to move tracks up in down. I would like to be able to organise my tracks.

So many to list that would save me some time, but most were already listed...

1. ability to move tracks around to organize
2. ability to apply effects to certain parts of a track (or is that there, and I'm missing it?)
3. a. to stop preloading the last song I worked on...
b. and to not quit when I close that song, how annoying!
c. to have more than one open at the same time.
4. to function better on my "old" iBook (600MHz G3)

Though it hurts to say it, I wonder whether all that's too much to ask for 1/5th of $49... Regardless, I'll still spend hours on GB.

OGG/Vorbis! It a slashdot.org thing. Someone had to post it. ROTFLMAO. :) :)

Not sure about GB, as I don't have it yet.. I have plans to educated my students and myslef when Apples announces its new line up of machines. I will state it again, I know squat about music but the ear candy here has turned more than a few heads in my office.

Jobs saw the music game in full and has captured it. A grandslam for Apple and a home run for icompostions.

Congrats to icompostions.com for becoming a leader in music education.

Instead of being stuck with a certain amount of, say, reverb throughout a given vocal track.

Of course, GB could do that already and I just don't know how!

More loops (though that is more of a matter of buying the Jam Pack). More loops for rock guitars (electric, but not metal sounding). More orcastral muisc like violins, etc. Better woodwinds like the sax and trumpet.

My biggest annoyance is not seeing every loop in the browser. I hate how there are about 9 secret agent guitar loops, but you only see some of them depending on the key. What I want is for GB to gray out any loops you can't use because of key. That way if you are looking for a certain instrument and see that there are a lot of them in a different key you can change the key of the song.
