This is a really good B3 organ, if you're willing to pay for it:

A lot of the Best Sounds can be made out of the Basic sounds already provided. I've managed to make a decent B3 but it's nothing like the real thing. Don't know about any free sond dl's though. |

Unfortunatly you get what you pay for. As far as good sounds the Native Instruments B3/B4 are OK or you may want to consider getting a keyboard. I know money can be really tight at times but you know they say "Money Talks".
Continue trying the Apple websights or, do several Google searchs, you may get something better or at least something to work with.
You might also want to get a book on sound design and build the sound you want. |

There is a tenor sax at sf2midi that I think sounds good with a little chorus and reverb added on to it. |

BTW, what's wrong with the Rhodes that comes with GB? It is certainly usable to me.
There is a "cool elec piano" that I believe is in JP2 that is pretty hip. Perhaps more of a smooth jazz sounding piano, and good for certain pop styles. |

You can use Soundfont in GB using Sounfont Synth.
SoundFont Synth is a shareware and it only costs $15:

Try it, there are a lot of free Soundfonts available online.

I downloaded the free (trial) Stuffit Expander. Then I took some sf2 fonts and dropped them right into the expander. All I got were error messages in each time.
What the H? Any ideas? |
