Here is a different cover....you remember 'Run' a cover of No Doubts 'Running' well that was a cover quite simular as the original (vocalwise)....
Well here is an entry that I am sure of will not win but I had to get it of my chest....
I won't say yet who the covered artist is as I wonder how many of you will guess right....hehehhe

What about a symphonic version of a Violent Femmes tune? Or perhaps Samuel Barber's "Adagio for Strings" as a Bossa Nova? |

All good ideas - I'm in. I can't wait to do this. I used to do a classical version (operatic) of Dylan's Like a Rolling Stone in concerts and it was a big hit (it's hard to do without laughing somewhere through the middle but it's worth it not to - the dead pan approach makes it even funnier). I saw myself as Madame Dumont of Marx Bros fame.
But, this time, I think I'd do something more serious.

Where did this Forum spring from?
Anyway, its perfect timing, as I've recently completed my cover of 'The Monster Mash' by Bobby 'Boris' Pickett,
You can hear my blasphemous version here:

Sadly, Bobby Pickett died recently at the age of 69, so this is in his memory. |
