This afternoon I kept hitting the "Jump to Random Artist" button on the Artists page. I came across some really great new (to me) tunes and artists. And some I already know and haven't visited in a long while. The Random Artist button is a good way to mix it up here at iComps. |

It's a masterpiece of engineering and mixing. It's unique and very idiosyncratic but it hangs together nicely. I can't mix like that. |

Actually... nothing. Strangely enough, after spending all day yesterday listening to lots of Eric Johnson, Jon Hopkins, Temple Scene, and a little Vanessa Daou as I hiked up a beautiful Cascade Head here on the Oregon coast... today dawned, I slept in till noon, and as of 4:05pm local time I haven't listened to a single note of music. I'm sure that'll change shortly...  |
