This idea actually came to me pretty quickly, banged around in my head for a while, then eventually came out. The inspiration for it was helped by half a bottle of semi-cheap Merlot. It is a rare instance of being in the right place at the right time and actually holding onto an idea long enough to let the instruments do what they needed to do.

I wouldn't call it a "masterpiece".

Mine has to be "Rock Lee" which everything I try to due with the bass came together.

Pigdog, my first cut & paste collage that I feel really represents my musical influences and personality. Part Zappa, part Claypool a dash of Buckethead (but using a bass). it really gelled as a mini story.

I dunno, I always think that I achieved something which is way beyond those songs that I did before... until I find out that my next song is better... inho...

So currently my Africa song would top all the other songs of mine because it is so unsual for me...

hard for me to decide. my bigest piece is trilogy, my most elaborate piece as well , followed by Bisected, but im burning my own ears out with when angels die at the moment lol

my best music tends to wake me up from a dead sleep and ill have to come down stairs to the studio and piss my wife off making noise all night trying to capture a dream, which was pretty much the entire penance album, she saw nothing but the back of my head for 4 months while was either writing the msuci writing the book that went along with it or recording the music

This is an aquired taste, but should be appreciated due to its originality. No Loops, (aside from the intro theme..extracted from a PC game lol) everything was played/sequenced by hand and mixed in cubase4. Lots of layers. Quality wise i think its a good mix considering each entity is independant from eachother so havin everything blend properly took some time. Anyways its a conceptual track i did and would love feedback. Thanks.

I hope I have not written my best tune yet. I think of my music as a kind of childs macaroni art on the refrigerator. You know the ones with macaroni glued to a piece of paper. It means something to the kid who made it and they wanted to share it. My music is the same. It is nothing special but I want to share it. The song I created that I most enjoy is "Now Joe, Now" I created it for the Olympic Spirit contest. It is an emotional piece for me but for others it might be just simple macaroni art when compared to the great artists on iComp.

I write and play a lot of different styles...but my main focus has been acoustic, lately.

In that vein, this one was the most spontaneous (I wrote it in about an hour) and is pretty popular among my listeners, both live and on-line.

I don't know that I'd call it a (or even "my") masterpiece...but it holds a great deal of meaning for me.

I cooked a fine Ratatouille last summer, with fresh tomatoes and herbs from the veggies garden. Everyone loved it.

I think i cant do any better. I can die empty now.
