maybe I should search through other topics and postings but what I'd like to know is when stating you have used loops (when posting tracks on this site) does this mean you are declaring you have used the set loops given by pro tools, Garage band etc. or are you declaring ones you have made or indeed any of the above modified? |

Either you have loops that are made by someone else(i.e.Protools or Garageband's set) or loops that are composed by yourself. I only use someone else's loops because I don't have the musical ability at this time to make something good enough to suit me. Because of this, I always put "only loops" on every one of my songs even if I have changed parts of a loop, say in a midi file. But, if I would someday use loops that I have created, then I would tag my song as using "no loops". This is just my take on it! Others here might disagree with me heartily! |

i interpret it as meaning loops someone else has made. but it's interesting to know if you make your own loops too. |

I understand "Only Loops" to mean that the loops used were made by someone else. If you are writing/playing some parts yourself and happen to repeat that part, similarly to how pre-made loops are used, I would consider that to be original work and thus not a loop in the context of the selection "Only Loops". |

I need drum loops. Only being able to play guitar and a little bit of keyboard sets me back when it comes time for percussion, thank god drum loops exist. |
