Hi everyone,
iCompositions has a new feature that has been requested fairly frequently (we've been working to get it just right for a while): additional email notification options!
Previously, you could choose to receive an email whenever someone commented on one of your songs. Now, you can also receive an email when one of your favorite artists uploads a song and when someone comments on one of your favorite songs.
By default, notifications for new songs by favorite artists are enabled and notifications for comments on favorite songs are disabled. These preferences can be changed quickly and easily in Backstage > Preferences. There is also a link to change notification preferences at the bottom of every notification email we send.
I believe that this feature will be an excellent way to stay on top of your favorite artists and songs. I hope you all enjoy it! |

Here's a bonus feature: we've done away with the ShareThis button (which annoyed people when it popped up unrequested). It has been replaced with cleaner, simpler buttons to share a link to the song on Facebook, Twitter, and Email. |

We now have the option of sending the "favorite artist uploads a new song" emails in a daily digest. Right now, though, we're not able to provide a daily digest for comments on favorite songs. |

Another update: members now have the option of receiving a daily summary of comments on favorite songs as well.
To change your Email Notification settings, visit Backstage > Preferences. |
