Venantius Fortunatus - considered the last Roman poet, as I just learned. A very interesting piece and wonderful performance!

O man.. This is just so Beautiful.. Majestic... Wonderful.. Pulls me apart in every way// the Juxtaposed rhythms of the bells against the points in the vocals.. just pulls my soul.... stretches it..

This is not ancient.. It yours.... Its modern... Its yours... It sound now.... Its yours...

You have a very strong influence over your music.. Whether you know it or not.. a strange deep abstract that occurs.. Its fascinating.. More fascinating then the year of the music you are trying to create...

Plane chant melody.. Cantus firmus.. Florid Organum... Takes my back to my college music history days...

A nice lilt to it, Mary. The orchestration is unassuming, but effective.

I feel like I am in a medieval court: the festivities, the grandeur, the plainchant...and although I like the sparse chamber arrangement here, I could hear this ancient melody and dance raised into orchestral proportions, while keeping the piercingly lovely vocal duet simple and graceful, as you have. Beautiful and timeless music.
