This is another favorite old tune from my album Being.
Written in pattern style into an old sequencer (Dr. Ts KCS on Commodore Amiga).
Kawai K1 and Yamaha DX100 (original voicings) and Roland TR303 drum machine.
All the arpeggios were played by hand, not step edited.
Excuse the noise- this was recorded to Tascam portastudio 1991.

The the theme is about my love for my Grandfather's wooden burr puzzles, some of which he made. I was always fascinated by a set of simple pieces creating complexity. Same kind of thing shows up in Bach fugues, Escher drawings and fractal geometry. the music is a set of simple patterns when played together create apparent complexity and secondary perceived melodies.
