@jasonkentmusic
The bass and drums are real instrument samples available in garageband. The individual piano to synth notes are all customized in a variety of ways. If you are really interested I could go into detail but perhaps the most tedious edits had to do with an ever changing volume curve which I used to control the tone and echo. As you know effected synth sounds will often continue to echo far into the song unless fades are applied at every break.
I'm happy with the results here but I would be embarrassed to show you how many takes and edits it took for me to get here. No doubt there are other ways, better ways.
Good luck!
