This is the fourth song of five in my "Songs by Seven" (Sx7) project. Alliya's father wrote 50 poems to her mother years ago, and I thought since he called them "Songs by Seven" they should be set to music.

For this one, I had asked if anyone else wanted to give a try, and Rusticalia stepped up to help. I sent him some of the poems, and he chose one and turned it into a wonderful, pensive acoustic number. I hope I didn't muck it up too much with the harmonica bits. smiley I've been holding on to this for a long time as I prepared the CD for Alliya's mother, and I thank Rusti for his artistry and his patience!

guitar, vocals: Rusticalia
harmonica: Offbalance
lyrics: Seven (provided by Alliya)

Other songs in the project are listed in my blog entry here.
