Since my last song was about my daughter, I figured it was time to say something about her mother, who as it happens, is one helluva cook.

NOTES:

1) This 320k Mp3 might need a minute to buffer-up.

2) If you use Safari & Snow Leopard and iC's QT player won't load try DL-ing the latest Flash plug-in from Adobe. Or listen at http://www.macjams.com/song/57898

3) The Mix: One track on my 1969 plywood Yamaha beater (shown), doubled; guitar & vox thru pinhole mic; one bass and loops for strings & drums.

Thanks everyone for the kind feedback. Chris, there's really only one guitar in here; since I only needed one finger to do slide, I alternated between the slide and frets in one track. It sounds like more because I duped the guitar track and fuzzed it up (mostly on right side).

Really like the original sounding production-the fusion of that Delta sliding with the rock steady bass and glide is great!! (Cool graphic as well!) smiley
Taking out the guitarbage? hahaha!

Wow.
This is heavy.
Love it.
But like all great tunes that are this honest, I feel like I'm intruding...

Brilliant all the way through.

The bass sounds cool. Nice production on the whole thing. Can't tell if you've got the phase/chorus effect running on your vocs or if it's just left over from everything else. Either way, you pulled of a unique overall sound. Nice. Sweet sliding too.

Very very cool. Kinda reminds me of the band "Big Wreck". (Huge compliment) I love the mix of bluesy chords, mixed with colorful phrasing. Love this tune.
