Zallaz and MissRedd wrote this song and did a powerful version of it with lots of emotion and desperation in the music. WELL DONE GUYS! I asked them if I could do a cover of their song and they were nice enough to say YES. However, I couldn't recapture what they did. I tried and I failed. So....I did a different feel to the song but I encourage you to check out the original its worth it: www.icompositions.com/music/song.php?sid=119656

Woohoo way to go R you've added some great classic rock sensibilities to our lil' tune, diggin' the vibe BIG TIME! Can I be in your band? smiley

Seriously I love what you've done here you've got that authentic North American rock sound that's kind of elusive to a humble Brit like me, you hit my 'Cheap Trick' nerve... you also made the track your own with your own interpretation, a scorching lead break (Royall trademark) the whistling was a fun addition too.

Bought a huge smile to my face too, for all the right reasons, as I said on the other version 'I'm (genuinely) flattered' smiley

Look forward to hearing more Royall music asap!

(btw for anyone reading this hop over and compare and contrast mine and MissRedd's original, there's an audio version, a movie, a t-shirt, mugs, posters, stickers etc... okay I got a lil' carried away there is an audio and a YouTube out there... somewhere, shameless plug overkill or what smiley )

wow. such a change from the laidback version! it's amazing how you put such a different spin on the song... i always find it so interesting... how people can have such different perspectives on the same song. how the song then develops and changes with each artist... i just love that.

has almost a nirvana feel to it. very 90s alternative.

such a great job on the guitars. thoroughly enjoyed.

peace,
missredd

smiley royall dig the subtle 'Trick' additions!

Missy haven't we had the conversation once about Kurt Cobain mentioning 'Cheap Trick' as an influence? smiley

(ps royall if you haven't heard 2009's 'The Latest' by CT well worth investigating there best album in decades and a track called 'California Girl' so they semi-revist their own back catalogue) ...end of PSA smiley
