Great rocking tune - don't know the original, but I know this is a good showcase for your talents. Nicely done.

I had to smile when I heard the hidden shout out to iComp smiley

(On a side note, my wife and I are addicted to Phineas and Ferb. It's one of the most clever cartoons I've seen for awhile. And the music on it is really good.)

As always, superb shredding Ray. Very good vocals, kudos Baboon. If I have a problem with this it's only that the mix is a bit muddy. Would love to have had just a bit more high end separation on those rhythm riffs. But that's a quibble. Awesome solo work, awesome cover.

Whenever I see Ray's name attached to a project I can pretty much guarantee that there's something good waiting for me, and this is no exception. And I must confess that I wasn't as familiar with Babs's marvellous vocals as I perhaps should have been, but I'm very, very impressed with both the vocals themselves and the hand-in-glove fit with the music. My only thought on the vocals is that they sound a little thin and distant in the mix, whereas I'd like to hear them a bit fuller. Then again, it does suit the spacious mix (I must say I'm not hearing the mud that Brad reports). Good job all round, guys!

I should've been a little more specific. It's mostly just the rhythm guitar that feels a little, I dunno... buried in the mix at times. The chunky riffs could be a bit more defined. But as I said, that's a tiny quibble that is far outweighed by the overall excellence of the track. I can only dream of achieving a mix as solid as this one. Rock on, boys.

Being from Chicago I used go nuts when I heard the live version of this where Phil Mogg goes, "Lights out...lights Chicago!" heheh(so I threw in "Lights out on iComp" toward the end adlib for PM. Crank some Rock Bottom, Doctor Doctor, Out in the Street, Only You Can Rock Me and Too Hot to Handle after this, natch smiley

Awesome job on this ... Strangers in the night is one of the best live albums ever... Love to Love, Mother Mary, Natural Thing ... fantastic stuff, Phil Mogg is one of my fave singers, Baboon did a sterling job on this, but the guitar playing is absolutely first class.
