This one has been a while in the making. Would have been fIve years in November. The piece is a direct commentary on society: then and now. I would like to let the lyrics speak for themselves, so please click on their link as you listen. I tried some new, and suggested, recording techniques, and actually produced this...instead of the live stuff I normally create of late. Thanks to those for the constructive feedback, and know that I'd love to hear what you all gotta say. Curious? Take a listen! gdc

Yay!

One question I have is wheher the vocal effects are too much...the sound is okay to me....but I wonder if the stereo effect is distracting....

Don't worry about criticism...as i tried to produce this, I can take it on this one! Suggestions welcome.

I like the 'unplugged' vibe here! It sounds 'produced' without suffering from 'overkill' ... I've always admired songs that can stand on their own(vocal/piano or vocal/guitar)and IMHO you nailed it on this one! ... I'm going to show my age(lol)but this wouldn't have been out of place as a thought provoking song in the 60s(I mean that in a GOOD way) ... it's funny(not haha funny)how life repeats itself ... given the USAs involvement in the wars this is certainly a timely and to my ears potentionally a classic piece that'll stand the test of time!

This is not to shabby at all... sounds like a protest song from the 60's! Love the harmonies with the vocals.
