Hey Bobby,

Why do I love this song so much? Maybe it's because it's so well written & played. And because I already heard it, hehe. I actually listen to it often, it's fabulous & such a beautiful dedication! Over & out from the Cupcake Nebula...

To have you ~ one of the most powerful and beautiful voices I've ever heard ~ lend an ear to this tune again is a big deal in itself. But your comments, compliments and cosmic cupcakes make sharing it here a real treat! Thank you, Dani.

I like all the proggy mood-changes and the bass-guitar-heavy mix.
Layered guitars are fantastic too. That psychedelic solo on the outro is priceless.
I think the voice could be louder in the mix and in parts the drum could be louder in the mix.
All in all, so happy to be hearing stuff from you!

Great work on this tune. Love what you have done with all the guitars; love the progressions as well. The tone on the lead guitar is majestic and those chops at the end are grand.

@mfwmiles - sorry if I blew your ears, or speakers!

@artneuro - anytime YOU like a bass part of mine's a good day. Vox: I'm kind of a '70s mixer, prefer when vocals are in, not over the band. I wrote the song on bass, a first for me. Hope they were audible for you, at least. RE: the ending solo, read what I wrote below to 4arms. It's my favorite lead ever, maybe! Also that rocking 3rd verse with that strum pattern made me think I was channeling vintage INXS (not the reunion!)... maybe you hear that in there?

@khu - I planned on replacing the first solo in the break between verses 2 and 3 but let them to play-off each other (imagining this to be a live band of clone guitarists.

@4arms - that last solo made me laugh. I was thinking, "what would Jimmy Page do?" The answer was: go gonzo on the timing and catch-up to "Bonzo" (okay, my damn loops) when I'm done spazzing-out!

@toveco - simply, thanks.

@ShadowofNine - Dave, appreciated. Guitar's my main thing, but my friend and muse, inspired me to go "passionate" and grab my 'nads to try and belt-out that third verse. I was thinking the "quiet side" of Nick Cave in the last, quiet vocal verse before amping-up for the last solo outro.

@Sloparts - I was hoping you'd appreciate the tiny bit of vocal high-end to make it audible. Like I told artneuro, my mix sensibility's still stuck in the 70s.

@KCsGROOVE - Thanks! Maybe I should edit "70s" to "60s" in my thanks to Ed and Art above!

@MusicLeft thanks; first time I started writing on bass. It kept the arrangement a little cleaner I think.
@SteveScott who am I to argue with Dani?! Super thanks.
@pharmakeus @Dylan and @eagle I'm glad my voice works for you guys, I've been working-up to this kind of thing, I've been working-up my courage to put a little more into it. Again, thanks from the bottom of my... well, you know.

Good to see a Bob6 song, what's more its a love song not done in the syle of a sappy love song .. kinda psychedelic prog ... kicking lead tones, the bass is great, and I can hear you gave the vocal everything .. like you meant it, just how it's supposed to be !

@Dave M - Thanks for comments touching a few things. As a vocal newbie I'm just learning how hard it is to emote and stay on (or, well, near) pitch. But fur sure, love isn't always sappy, so why should a love song? Amen, bro. @Vixen, also much appreciated that you stopped over, and look at all those stars, woo-hoo! And @jibes - thank you, too.

Going on fie years I've enjoyed sharing my music here, and I never stop being thankful for all yer kindnesses.

This is sweet that is for certain, it has such a big sound.. I can't really nail down what it reminds me of... its like a mix of bowie, floyd, zeppelin and an assortment of other artists blended together.

@QueenKontrol, @AngeloA, and @Bass2x, I have been "going through some stuff" and feel bad I didn't thank you earlier. I wasn't shooting for anyone's style but I laughed to myself about how the delay on the strumming kind of reminded me of U2 or INXS. James, the vocal levels have gotten the most semi-ceritial comments. The vocals are indeed quieter for the first verse, I wanted you to "lean in" to get your attention. (Hope I didn't overdo it.) And the vox pick-up from there, as you accurately note. THANK YOU ALL AGAIN. Hope to get my non-musical business tidied-up so I can get back here more.

@morgan102, thanks much. I didn't try to copy anyone but the delay in the 2nd verse reminded me of U2's Edge (the world's least-talented if cool-sounding guitarist), while the 3rd most-rocking verse reminded me of early, old INXS! Non-musical life is in upheaval but I'll be back and catch-up with ya when I can.

@BigJimSlade, Stick around long enough and the longs add up... really I'm lucky to do three tunes a year! As for diverse... I just play what comes out, and hope for the best. My favorite part is playing. My least favorite is dealing with drums that aren't made by hand by someone I know. Production is fun, to a point... then it's kind of like over-scratching an itch and risking over-over production... like this tune!

One of my major goals is to back-off big productions and figure out what I want to say, lyrically or else melodically in the instrumentals. And maybe go back to the drawing board with some stripped-down acoustic stuff. Anyway... thanks!
