This track is being re-listed due to an error on my part in uploading the wrong version... Der ! 'Bond is Gay' is the 8th track to be uploaded from the forthcoming 23 track AES album 'State of Dysphoria'. Thanks to Kaz, Karen, and Gil for additional vocal licks.
Jon J for the additional bass line, and loan of the Rickenbacker. Suzi Hope for her able and enigmatic assistance, and Mr.Mellor Esquire, for the inspiration.
Whats this piece about ? Taking the time out to be what you really want to be. The exact opposite of what everybody expects you to be. Even if its just for one day. I couldn't think of anyone better than Mr.Bond.

Listening appreciated. Feedback and comments always welcome.

my only criticism is that I think the James Bond theme should've come in more at some point, maybe pull up the vocals a bit too.

what I like is the backing airy vocals. I like the change in the style going into the bridge and chorus. nice choir feel. great huge pop feel! I like the little bell hits you have too. and good cymbal work, nice flourishes. very nice track.

Re: James Bond impression .... Very Funny Randolf, I did laugh honestly. I'm such a big fan of John Barry, and of course Monty Norman the original OO7 theme writer. Wouldn't of dared insulted them with my piece of fluff. Appreciate your input... And humour. K

I'ma big James Bond fan -- hey, maybe I'm an even bigger one now that he's out. ha! I like the production in this. It's late and didn't want to wake the roommate, so I threw on the headphones and cranked it up. I like where the vox are sitting in the mix now. And I like that you didn't use the Bond theme. To do so would have been cliché, I think. But there is enough throughout the mix to evoke Bond-style music -- almost a mix of Duran Duran's theme sound for View to a Kill (pop with airy big vox) with the instrumental rock of David Arnold (Tomorrow NEver dies, The World is Not enough, and Die Another Day)...

Offbalance. Its comments like yours that makes all the effort worthwhile. And I so agree with you on not using the Monty Norman '007' theme. Thank you for taking the effort to give me this feedback. Really appreciated. Have a good weekend. Kev

Kev!

You get a gazillion stars for the title alone!

Lyrics so good! I'm not a Bond expert but me thinks you've captured a ton of the details of the spy who loved me.

Bravo on the punny lyrics....and the effects therewith! I feel that the female vocal competes with yours at time.

I wanna hear you take command of a song and take full spotlight, violate the mic stand and toss your skivies into the audience in a wild rock star experience!

I'm ever so curious as to your influences.....back to reading your bio to find out!

This was most enjoyable!
