Symphonic rock ballad. Big feelings. Big sound. The larger than life feeling when earth shows itself from its most beautiful side.

Instrumentation is piano, synth strings and bells, piano, strings, English horn, bass, distorted lead stratocaster, and power chord guitars, and big sounding drums.

A slow piece with many contrasts from classical/new age to hard rock. In A-minor and 60 bps.

You get most out of it if played loud. Enjoy.

reality56 Listener Hi Kenneth
I will have to agree with Tony, this is a nice epic piece with lots of details and good harmonies. Like the way you are building up to reach final heights of the song, good stuff in there. You should be proud of this one, keep up man smiley

Regards
Michael

Oh wow, Kenneth - this one is fantastic! You have excelled yourself - this is so beautiful. What a lovely melody you have created, and the development of it is wonderful. I love the rock-y feel you've given this. It reminds me very much of Mike Oldfield's music, which I know you like, as I do. And, it's so funny, I was just thinking the other day that I'd like to see you do a minor key piece, and lo and behold you do - and how!

Hi Kenneth, this one is wonderful, really, full of sensitivity, emotion makes me thrill exactly when I listen to old Pink Floyd's or Oldfield's musics. Well mixed and balanced, very nice progression and chords. You have done here something very special. Bravo smiley

@Tony2008 epic - that is a word I like to hear about my music. Thanks

@reality56 - Michael I am proud of this. Glad you liked it

@ihussain - yes it was about time I did a real minor key piece. I had done the Dorian which is sort of minor, and some modulations to minor. But it was about time to do a real one. I spent quite some time on this before I suddenly got the inspiration and the monodies just came to me. I am glad you liked the rock feel. I like the energy real rock music has and I think rock and classical mix so well. Like latin and jazz mix well.

@toveco - thanks - yes I am in trouble now. Not sure I can live up to this one easily

@thsantac - Pink Floyd and Oldfield. That is what I call a compliment. I am happy you noticed the chord progressions. I am especially satisfied with the progression I made in the quiet part between the two guitar solo parts. There is a lot of studying and trial and error before I got those nailed

@pharmakeus - I had to Google that word smiley Thanks

@Bowman - Thanks. Appreciate that feedback from a guy that I have heard great harmonic orchestrations from

@RichardJohn - Thanks. Just heard your song a few minutes ago. Great work so it pleases me so much more to receive good feedback from you

@Auriemma - Thanks. I am glad you liked it. Also just heard your latest. Cool stuff.

@LarsJacobsen (my old friend who I called telling him to listen to my new "international hit" smiley ) I am glad you liked it

"Big" one. Could be part of a movie's soundtrack. I especially like the drums and the guitars and the way they "work together". Heartbreaking song! Enchanté!

Epic, 'real' and inviting. This piece pulled me in, as it would any true romantic musician. I particularly enjoyed the tempo, and the drums/percussion though I do favor ballads. You have exemplified beauty that can only be found in music and God. Press on Kenneth!
