I love Irish folk music. I love Irish dance. We all know Riverdance. One style of Irish dancing is the jig. There are different styles in different measures but most popular are 6/8 and 9/8. I decided to make a try of composing a new jig in 6/8.

I call it ... Kenneth's Jig

I'm jigging around the room, Kenneth smiley This was great. I liked the different sounds you used in here, and I really liked the tone of the piece around 3/4 of the way in - those instrument combinations were particularly appealing to me. But the whole piece was great. I heard other influences in this too, including Greek and Indian!

Good use of variation. just a quick tip use a little more use of dynamics like expression or modwheel on some samples) will give a more real playing feel - think of an accordion players notes rising and falling as the air is released and filled back up again or a flute players first blow to the last exhale will be softer. The piece is light and the instrumentation is perfect. I am liking your compositional arrangements. Brings joy to my ears well done. Fav
