I felt it was time for me to upload a hard rock piece. The kind that can blow the dust off the speakers.

Lots of guitars. Some tonewheel organ. A few synth sounds. And some hard beating drums. Let's ROCK!

Picture shows one of my good old wonderful loudspeakers next to my keyboard setup. I built the speakers myself about 25 years ago based on a project made by one of my fellow students who later started a high end HiFi company. They have been upgraded once. They have a fantastic transparent sound for any kind of music.

Geezus loweezus! Break out the lighters, Dude! I like the second keyboard sound the best. And I liked the wah sound, also. Reminded me a bit of Edgar Winter's "Frankenstein". Cool tune, Sir!

It's 2 AM here right now but this old guy is still up rockin' and probably won't quit for a while yet. I haven't gotten around to playing with the tonewheel organ yet but that is something else to look forward to, I guess. Will download this tomorrow when I am on my Mac sine I have a folder on there for the iComp songs. I enjoyed it !

Vicky beat me to it, as i too thought you'd kidnapped a Dalek! Amazing speakers. Great piece - very different from your other pieces, this ha such a funky rock sound, and I'm really digging both the heavy crunching guitars and the organ sounds. A really super mix and arrangement, showing a lot of skill.

@BigJimSlade Thanks. Yes the wah is a forgotten guitar effect that I have started using a lot on my last tracks.

@toveco Good your ears are clean now. Now for your mind.. smiley Thanks Tom

@Vixen Daleks AH! That explains why they used to light up in the middle of the night saying something like "EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!". I think they finally suffocated from dust when I lived as a bachelor. I nearly did too.

@Mike_Lynn Thanks for your kind words.

@sprkymrt I am happy you enjoyed the rocking and rolling. The Hammond or tone wheel is a fantastic instrument - also in rock music. And it is even better live with one of them huge Leslies throwing the sound round the room.

@Fredriksen Thanks a lot. You play that axe much better than I can ever do on a keyboard. Maybe next time I want to rock you will have a message from me smiley

@ihussain Thanks Iqbal. I guess this music is far from your normal genre so it is uplifting that you liked it too.

@TomDevine - Yes. A blues rock singer could add some cool dimension. But then I need some of those words that make up lyrics. So difficult - for me.

@Lagusaya2 - Thanks my friend. I know there is a hard rocker hidden inside of you.

@KCsGROOVE - Thanks for taking the time to comment.

@pharmakeus - yes. When I read that Jon Lord died it inspired me to use the tonewheel organ and also to make a guitar riff. No doubt the intro is inspired by Smoke On The Water. My all time favorite Jon Lord thing though is "Child In Time". It is one of the most epic rock ballads and I love its tempo changes as well. Such a great musician and such great sound.

@firecircle2 - Thanks for the kind words. Happy I succeeded with my riffs. It is the first time I do this genre. It will not be the last. I also love this kind of music.

@revoltington - I love my speakers. When I married my lovely wife Diane I told her they were part of the package. She has a high Speaker Acceptance Factor. Maybe it was because of her they stopped saying "EXTERMINATE!" at night.

@grathy - I do have a very broad taste. I know only two kinds of music. Good and bad. I love everything from classical, over jazz, musical, folk, pop, and yes - also hard rock. Only genres I struggle with are the ones where there is no melody in the music. I need melody.
