Really like this. Lush guitar and nice volume on the vocals (both on levels and reverb etc).

Oh, yeah -- definitely lovin' the guitar here. Most definitely! Agreein' with jkane (above) re: the vocals as well. Thumbs up again, Kevin!

I like this because it isn't standard fare. The lyrics are good. The guitar is full and compliments your vocal delivery. I like the lyrics the best because they leave so much open to the personal interpretation of the listener. Well done.

Ha! when I started this I was saying to myself that I heard this before. Then I noticed that I have downloaded this twice. Apparently I didn't leave a comment the first time. Anyway, this is a pretty cool tune. Esp the lyrics. Must have been pressed for time and never left a deserved comment the first time.

Reminded me a bit of Bauhaus with the vocal and the acoustic strumming. Nicely-done, man.

i really like those chords--esp in the verses. they've got an 'open air' quality. this is really good just the way you did it, but as i listened, i could hear a bass and a light, singular spacey synth line--maybe something Richard Wright form Floyd would use. regardless, i really liked Sanctuary.

@sammydix yes I need to 'evolve' this into a fuller more rounded track (time is the biggest factor, or lack of) but your suggestions got me thinking, glad you like! smiley

@thedickhickeyband there may be a reason for Bauhaus similarities, they and I come from the same town, yep! smiley

@padowan_learner, well you do check out virtually every piece of nonsense I post, but as long as you enjoy them that's a good thing! smiley

@LunaBleu well... me and lyrics? Do I draw from my own life or is it purely fiction? This track just started initially with the word 'Sanctuary' and I thought that's an interesting word, conjurs up images. smiley

@Q333 It's easily done to get confuddled on iComp, but that's great you download, and enjoyed the track more than once, thank-you! smiley

@pharmakeus well as you know I'm a big admirer of Steve Kilbey's work (1st Church album released 30 years ago this week btw) and well my vocals can sound Reed-esque too! smiley
