Hi John!

You've got such a branded sound! The strings, the trombone, all doing their own thing...wonderful marriage of syncopation!

Yes...short...but enjoyable!

Beautiful thick fat pizzicato strings, to gladden the heart. Those brass stabs are great, too, like they're having a conversation with the other instruments. I can fully believe you were conducting a little orchestra right in front of you. So cleverly done, a classy treat of a cold evening.

I totally love the pizzicato strings. They’re very busy. Like a lot of tiny feet going everywhere.

It’s a great piece. Pushes one’s imagination greatly.

Very nicely flowing melodic segments bouncing around in the ensemble,
The orchestration is also interesting and intriguing. The track has a very special sensation and tension in how small intonation instabilities in the partly overblown trombone note is dynamically linked to length.

A well deserved tribute to a fantastic and often forgotten music instrument. Very interesting composition where the trombones chit chat with each other almost like two old women at the hairdresser. Lovely harmonization by the strings. A high spirit piece that makes you uplifted and happy. Great work

georgeptingley Artist Fantastic combination of plucks, bows, and blowin'. I could imagine some wood blocks coming in somewhere. Particularly impressed with the sound of that trombone (bass?).

As a trombone player myself, I will always enjoy trombone heavy-music and favor them in my own tracks (both jazz and modern orchestral). This sounds like it could be in a quirky video game!
